Initial Setup, Implementation Support and Training

The OpenFIT Onboarding and Implementation Program is a 5 step program specifically designed to help agencies implement OpenFIT and support their FIT implementation. It covers the areas of initial setup, implementation, support and training. It is based on the ICCE FIT implementation program developed by Scott Miller and his colleagues at the ICCE.

It includes live online trainings and consultations with our expert team as well as access to the videos and user guides you need to implement OpenFIT and specific tools to support your FIT implementation.

Stage of OpenFIT Setup, Implementation and Training

  • Stage 1: Exploration and Agreement
  • Stage 2: Installation and Initial Setup
  • Stage 3: Initial Implementation
  • Stage 4: Implementation and Training
  • Stage 5: Support, Sustainability and Development

Stage 1: Exploration and Agreement

This is an initial discussion with the internal FIT implementation team where we review progress in the FIT implementation project and identify when it is appropriate to begin the OpenFIT pilot implementation phase. This is also the stage where specific changes or updates required in OpenFIT for the implementation identified. We generally also discuss Service Level Agreement (SLAs) and any specific support requirements, setting up a super-user group for the implementation drawn from the main agencies involved. Finalising contract details including Software as a Service (SAAS) terms with the IT department are also generally part of this stage.

Stage 2: Installation

This stage is where the initial users of OpenFIT are setup together with administrators and supervisors. Specific requirements for OpenFIT setup and installation are agreed and implemented. A one-hour webinar demonstrates how to collect and review client feedback also includes demonstration of OpenFIT administration and reporting features.

Stage 3: Initial Implementation

At this stage the initial pilot users are trained in OpenFIT and a one-hour webinar is provided for the pilot group which are generally clinicians identified as confident and knowledgeable in FIT (super-users).

Stage 4: Implementation

At this stage the wider OpenFIT users in the organisation are identified and participate in one-hour webinars which introduce OpenFIT and demonstrate how to capture and review client feedback.

Stage 5: Support, Sustainability and development

During the initial setup and continuing through implementation all OpenFIT users will have access to the full OpenFIT range of supports including online Support Chat built directly into the OpenFIT programme, Email Support and Telephone support where required.

A number of months after implementation a follow up webinar is held with the superuser group to review progress with OpenFIT, identify any issues that have come up and agree any updates or changes required. An initial review of the FIT data collected to that point is also completed.

OpenFIT Training toolkit

OpenFIT implementation includes a comprehensive onboarding and training programme for all users of OpenFIT including clinicians, social workers, administrators, supervisors and managers. This includes online webinars and consultations and access to a comprehensive e-Learning platform. This resource is available in Danish and English.

Online Webinars

A series of one-hour webinars are provided for the initial pilot group of clinicians identified as confident and knowledgeable in FIT (super-users). Following on from one-hour webinars which introduce OpenFIT and demonstrate how to capture and review client feedback are delivered to the OpenFIT users in the organisation.
